As i have done previous research focusing on different websites, i am carrying this on further to create an image for my magazine and also an image of the kind of reader that the magazine would attract.
By doing this i have looked around at different magazines/shops/websites etc... and have researched what type of people the fans are of these companies already going. The companies i chose all fit in well within the genre of my magazine being a 'vintage/mod' style. This is a hole new genre to this form of media and this is what would be the unique selling point when thinking about selling the magazine to this particular audience.

Research
For my magazine i have been looking for different websites and shops or even products that fit the theme of my music magazine.
First i decided to look at the websites of shops that fit the theme, the first website i looked at was a clothes shop, this clothes shop is in a vintage style and the pictures and style of the website fits well for the fashion aspect of my magazine- http://www.retro-rehab.co.uk/retro-rehab.html
The next website i looked at was the fashion magazine called 'Wonderland', i looked at this website because i read the magazine and I can link it to my magazine quite a lot, by looking at the different colours used in each issue of the magazine and also the layout, i can focus on looking through an issue of this magazine to get ideas for my contents page and main articles.

And of course the most obvious of products to focus on is the famous music magazine, 'NME' i chose this because of the music side of the magazine and how they write the main articles and link to these articles by images on the front page. I have also been looking at the styles of the photographs inside the magazine and on the cover, the colours chosen also apeal to me, the red, black and white are the colours that i also would like to use and this is where i got the idea from.
